The authentic Italian food has paved way into Indian kitchen due to its unique taste.

The most iconic of all Italian foods are pastas and pizzas. This tangy and tasty foods have become synonymous with spaghetti alla carbonara, or alla Bolognese, which are the two most popular pasta recipes in the world.

The recipe of authentic Italian food is quite easy. It is quick to be prepared, comes in different sizes, shapes and is easy to be accompanied by unlimited number of sauces.

The most unique point about pasta is that you can have it each day without even repeating the same dish twice. It’s true that pasta comes with a high amount of carbs. Hence, it's not a very good idea o eat it every day or else twice a day.

So now lets discuss how an Italian pasta is being cooked.

And we will discuss it point by point. The first point is to ensure how to cook tasty pasta. It literally means cooking the pasta and the sauce. Cooking pasta is basically done with its first step that is to throw pasta in boiling water.

The second point to consider is that each kind of pasta comes with a special cooking time which is indicated on the package.

If you cook pasta for lesser than the prescribed cooking time, it will stay hard, however, if you choose to go over the cooking time, it will become softer. And if incase it is overcooked, it will be more like inedible glue.

While Italians love to have their pasta "al dente", that means a little harder kind pasta, we Indians love to keep it a little soft. However, one can get "al dente" by cooking it for the indicated cooking time. The third point to remember is to avoid ketchup as it destroys the basic taste of pasta.

Now lets come to the final recipe of cooking the authentic Italian food. Take some water in a pot, and keep it on the stove. Continue heating it until it starts boiling. Cover it with a lid on and hence it starts boiling a little faster.

As the water starts boiling, pour salt to it. Fine table salt can also be used here. Now it depends on the personal affair of a person whether he wants a lesser salt or more salt in pasta.

As salted water takes more time to reach boiling point, adding salt initially will not affect the final flavor, however, it will increase the time for boiling it.

Soon after you have added the salt, wait for half a minute and then put pasta in boiling water. Follow all instructions written on packet.

Continue stirring it to avoid sticking. Now, you know it is a simple process to cook pasta. Pasta comes like a sponge: it has the tendency to absorb the fluid in which it’s dipped. So if you cook it in water, it absorbs water and if you cook it in sauce, it will taste the same flavour from inside.

So lets follow a trick. Just a minute before the cooking time gets over, put a few tablespoons of cooking water in the pan where you are cooking the sauce from the pot. Now pour the pasta in pan, mix it with sauce. Allow it to heat for a minute and serve the tasty pasta.

Now, don't you think that the authentic Italian food recipe is not that tough!
