When we nourish the soul we look at all of humanity as a reflection of us, the highest and most noble version of ourselves. To nurture our soul is all about growing our humanity with goodness and compassion for all of life regardless of others' weaknesses and of our differences.

How are we nourishing our souls today? What choices are you making that may initially appear difficult, but on a deeper level are more compatible with your heart's truth?

I'm thinking of more ways to grow my humanity. Here are a few of them:

  1. Simple acts of kindness
  2. Finding beauty where it's hidden or forgotten
  3. Living my values
  4. Being a conscious co-creator
  5. Recognizing and appreciating my specialness and the specialness of others
  6. Living as optimistically as I can

When I do, life seems and is so much more on target with my soul. When I'm off-track, there are reckless moments of anger, envy and I feel out of control. That's when self-doubt and self deprecation can also seep in. We don't necessarily like ourselves when we at the low point of soul awareness. It's when we recognize the human weaknesses most that we are all prone too. https://www.poweryourlifenetwork.com/spiritual-consulting

I know that those moments come up even in spite of myself. However, I like to think that I lean more toward the life and love affirming acts and thoughts that are not only of myself but also of others. So being aware of what I'm saying and thinking of others is important.

I also feel that I have a responsibility to help others grow their humanity not only in my work as a coach, author and speaker, but as a citizen of the world. That means that I'm willing and eager to offer service when I can, without thinking of a return.

I also articulate and speak my mind when I feel others are veering off course and mistreating other humans and animals. To me, that's also about recognizing that we are here as stewards of the earth, the planet and of each other. https://www.poweryourlifenetwork.com

What about you? In the wake of recent loss and tragedy, it's paramount not only to think of ourselves, but to reach out to others with a hand, a prayer, a kind word or gesture. When we do, we grow ourselves and also make a difference in the growth of humanity as a whole. We remember and act on the connectedness of all. We remember that we are more than just our physical bodies and we are all interconnected and are of Source.
