Hyderabad’s Digital Marketing Landscape

The world is changing. The way people are perceiving and analysing things is changing. Everyday more and more people are getting online, changing the dynamics of marketing incredibly. Marketing is not about Billboards and Television Ads anymore, it is about being visible to your customer in their research phase. In pursuit of achieving these objectives, Organisations around the world have realised that Online Marketing (also referred to as Digital Marketing) is the most powerful and effective way of Marketing. Digital Marketing has found its Rightful place in the Western and the European markets but in India it is still at a very nascent stage and is a much undervalued form of Marketing.

WHY is it that every small firm in the West has a presence online but the biggest organisations in India still don’t have a Facebook page? A layman’s response would be "Perception and the Attitude of the Organisations in the subcontinent should change", if we analyse extensively, this is absolutely true. A few Metros in India like Mumbai, Bengaluru and Delhi have been among the early adopters to this paradigm shift and have contributed hugely to where Digital Marketing is placed currently in India.
