According to a February 15th, 2016 article by Chris Cavas on defensenews.com, another US Navy LCS ship Fort Worth has been sidelined at a pier here for several weeks after an in-port accident", which is bringing on further criticism after the Milwaukee, another Naval LCS ship, broke down less than a month ago. The LCS or Littoral Combat ship, is the United States Navy’s "newest class of warship" which is the reason it is receiving so much criticism that they have had two of the newer warships break down so recently.

Although, this additional incident is casting a negative shadow over these new warships, the U.S. Navy is insisting that they still have the utmost confidence in the LCS class, calling these instances "momentary setbacks" and expressing the necessity of these ships as encounters at-sea grow more and more realistic with China’s expanding actions. As the Pacific grows more unstable with North Korea and China increasing their presence and aggressive actions, Pacific Shore Parts understands that the U.S. Navy needs its spares and repairs needs met quickly and with the highest quality parts. As a supplier to the U.S. Navy, Pacific Shore Parts is proud to fulfill and provide our men and women in the military with the parts they need, when they need them.
