Dr Richard Reid is a medical professional who completed registrar training from King George V Memorial Hospital and Balmain Hospital, Sydney in 1977. He has good experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ailments related to the women’s reproductive systems. From 1994 to 1996, he worked as a member of Board of Directors of Gynecologic Center Foundation, a Scientific Committee member of International Federation of Cervical Pathology & Colposcopy, and a member of American Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology. He holds a six year MBBS degree, which he completed in 1996 from the University of Queensland. After that, he completed his internship and residency at Auckland Hospital Board, and then worked for two years in Guinea as a Public Health Officer.

Doctor Richard Reid is a self-motivated professional who keeps himself up-to-date with the latest advancements in the gynaecology field. He is a skilled surgeon and medical researcher who have interests in laser surgery and medicine. He was a founding member of the American Board of Laser Surgery, and Chairman of Gynecology Section at 15th annual meeting of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. He has won a series of prestigious awards, which showcase his accomplishments as a skilled, knowledgeable gynaecologist. Here is a list of some of them:

There are many national & international committees with which Doctor Richard Reid has been associated. He served as a member of Nomenclature Committee of International Federation of Cervical Pathology & Colposcopy (1990 – 96), Nominating Committee of American Society for Lasers in Medicine & Surgery (1985 – 86), Papillomavirus Terminology Committee of International Society for the Study of Vulvar Disease (1986 – 87), and Colposcopy Committee of International Academy of Cytology (1982 – 83).
