Consult with the best orthopedic surgeon in Chicago to address your back and hip injuries.

It happened one beautiful spring afternoon. I was riding my bike through the park, enjoying the view and the fresh air. Suddenly some teenagers ran out in front of me causing me to swerve because I was trying to miss them. I hit a tree and went flying off of my bike. They came running to help me but I couldn’t move. They called an ambulance and I was taken to the hospital. After pain medicine, x-rays, and a physical exam, it was determined that I needed an orthopedic surgeon.

When I left the hospital, I just had to find the best orthopedic surgeon in Chicago. I had numerous injuries to my hands, hips, and back. In addition to a broken wrist that was set in a cast, I had twisted and bruised my back, cracked a rib and did something to my hips that was causing excruciating pain. I got home and called my primary care doctor. They immediately referred me to an orthopedic surgeon in Chicago. I called and scheduled a consultation for the same week.

Finding the best orthopedic surgeon in Chicago was key to my recovery that day. I went into the doctor’s office with my test results, x-rays, and anything the ER had given me that fateful day. The orthopedic surgeon was very nice. He was compassionate for the pain that I was in. He did a thorough physical exam, took his own x-rays, and then scheduled an MRI. He began to explain to me what he suspected was going on in my back and hips and that it would likely require surgery to correct. He assured me that he was skilled and experienced with these types of injuries and that if the MRI proved him right, he would schedule the surgery as soon as possible.

Two weeks after that first appointment, I was on the surgery schedule. I was impressed because the surgeon knew what he was talking about. On the day of the surgery, he and his staff were very friendly and helpful. They were gentle with me because they knew that I was in pain. He comforted me and let me know that the surgery wouldn’t take long and I would be in recovery soon. After physical therapy, I could go back to riding my bike if I wanted to.

Today is my first day back on a brand new bicycle. It turns out, that group of teenagers got together and bought me a new bicycle. I am very glad that I was able to find an orthopedic surgeon in Chicago to fix my back. Because of his experience and skill, I am now able to ride my bike in the park again. It took several months of physical therapy, walking, and praying before I was well enough to ride, but because I had a great support system on my side, I am back to my athletic self again.
