Aerospace engineering primarily deals with designing and building machines that can fly. It’s typically one of the newest branches of engineering, which began in the 19th century with first experiment being in powered flight. As technology advanced, two specialties arose, aeronautical engineering, which involves designing aircraft such as powered lighter than aircraft gliders, fixed wing airplanes and jet, helicopters and autogyros; and astronautical engineering, which focuses on the design and development of spacecraft. Task of an Aerospace Engineer
