M. Sc. Geoinformatics Pattern by the University:

M. Sc. Geoinformatics is divided into 4 semesters and two projects. The degree is conferred under the aegis of Symbiosis International University. These 4 semesters include really interesting topics. In first semester it includes variety on topics that give basic knowledge on every aspect. In second semester it includes two elective courses and in third it includes a summer project with five electives and in last semester it covers the most important aspect of whole of M. Sc. Geoinformatics which is the Industry project.

M. Sc. Geoinformatics not only includes studies and projects it also provides with work shop in Communication skills, Soft skill, Leadership skills, Team building, Decision making, Confidence building and Personality development. SIG trains a student overall for every aspect of life.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Science, Agriculture, Management, Geography and Commerce with a Minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process

Appearing for SNAP is NOT mandatory to apply at SIG. Candidates who applied for SIG will be eligible for Personal Interview (PI). The Personal Interview, 10th Board exam, 12th Board exam, Graduation exam, educational stream, work experience, extracurricular activities, Post Graduation degree/diploma, and written communication skills will carry certain weightage in the selection process.
