Your body witnesses a large number of changes during pregnancy. However most of these are internal changes. These alterations don’t stop post pregnancy and continue to bother you. Read on to know what all post-baby body changes you can go through.

Hair loss

Finding your hair all over the place like on bathroom floor, in your hair brush, on pillow and a lot more places. Don’t freak out as we have an explanation for this. Usually hair fall and re-grow all the time and it’s a natural cycle. During pregnancy however there is a slowdown in hair fall. When baby is born your body starts with normal hair fall cycle and that is why you feel all your hair came down at once.

There is no fixed time period when this sudden hair fall will stop. For some women it stops after a couple of months of giving birth and for some it continues for entire breast feeding period. Stay calm and take care of your hair as usual it will get normal soon.

Leaking pee

Pee problems are very common during and after pregnancy. Trauma caused to the pelvic floor muscles and exerts the pressure which is enough to cause leaky pee problems. There is nothing to be concerned about. It is not going to last forever and postpartum incontinence will gradually fade away.

Best way to deal with this problem as long as you suffer is to do kegels.

Foot growth

Foot growing during pregnancy is common. Manny women witness swelling in feet when they are pregnant but the reality is your feet can grow longer permanently during pregnancy. It is estimated that about 70% women go through foot growth during pregnancy.

Rather than fretting over the growth, you should invest time in shopping for some new footwear. It will work both as a distraction as well as a mood lifter.

Leaky boobs

Some women report that after pregnancy they have leaky boobs. It is all in the muscles of the tiny pores of nipples that cause leaky boobs. Some women have stronger muscles in the area than others.

To deal with the leaky boob problem you can use breast pads when you go out.

Stretch marks

Stretch marks dread soon to be mothers like a horror movie. Well you have to understand that skin undergoes rapid expansion during pregnancy. When postpartum your body gets normal some of the stretch marks retain.

There are a lot of ways to deal with stretch marks problems. A lot of cosmetic products like Bio Oil, Cocoa Butter and other moisturizers can help reduce these marks.

Post pregnancy paunch

Don’t expect that as soon as you give birth your body will look slim and fit. Mostly women look pregnant even after delivering babies. Uterus takes time to shrink to its normal size. Also there is so much stressing in the tummy area that your muscles may shag even when uterus goes back to its original size.

The best way to deal with this problem is to exercise regularly and eat right.
