The goal with Syncis, they say, was "to create a business that was focused on establishing a relationship with clients, and fostering understanding before anything else." Their philosophy is that once potential clients have been educated about basic financial concepts, they will have the knowledge they need in order to make their own, informed decisions about what Syncis can do for them.

"This background is why Syncis associates are encouraged to never sell anything or close a deal before meeting with the individuals/families multiple times," John Kim says. "This process is meant to make sure they trust the representative and understand the products. This is why Syncis’ motto is ‘strengthening families with trust and understanding.’"

All of the Associates at Syncis are licensed financial professionals who help each client get the financial protection they seek, so that they can realize their long-term financial goals. "Our Associates’ sales process revolves around financial education, no-pressure sales, and referrals," Kim says. Syncis publishes materials [like] pamphlets, brochures, etc, regarding general financial concepts like inflation and compound interest." Associates also offer free seminars on personal financial topics, in order to help create curiosity about personal finance, and to open a dialog about Syncis products.

Syncis Associates are independent contractors who come from a variety of non-finance backgrounds. They use a process called the Syncis Personal Financial Checkup (PFC) to help their clients understand their financial needs, so that they can make better decisions about their finances. Each PFC is a no-cost, no-obligation, and no-pressure meeting between Associates and potential clients.
