Scaffolding is the most common terminology used in construction works. 1. Suspended Scaffolding: this scaffolding according to its name is the support structure which is suspended or hanging for the roof of the construction site or another tall construct. This is commonly used when it becomes difficult to construct a base around the construction site for supported scaffolding. Mostly, this type of scaffolding is employed when the construction workers are required to reach the upper levels or work site at upper levels and building from the ground is not feasible. For example window cleaners, use similar scaffolding for cleaning of top tower windows. This scaffolding is also used for repairs of high rise and upper levels work site.
2. Rolling Scaffolding: as the name suggests this is a mobile or a movable scaffolding. In structure it is similar to supported scaffolding but it has caster wheels at its base which allow for the scaffolding to move from one work site to another. Thus the scaffolding need not be deconstructed and reassembled it simply can be moved to a different construction site. The wheels of the scaffolding can be locked when the construction workers are working on it.
