Dr. Neal R. Emad -Top Virginia Dentist

Dr. Neal R. Emad is known as one of the most renowned dental care practitioners in the country with more than two decades worth of experience. He currently runs both Nova Dental Care offices in Virginia, one in Chantilly and one in Vienna.

Dr. Emad received his higher education at the University of Maryland, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 1983 and a DDS in 1987, both with honors. He immigrated to the United States during the Lebanese civil war of 1978 and fled to this country in the hopes of pursuing a better life for him and his family.

Upon his arrival in the United States, he immediately enrolled in the University of Maryland. Dr. Emad’s lifelong dream had always been to provide superior dental care and services to those who affected by dental-related problems and issues.

The year after he received his DDS, he began his professional career in dentistry in the city of Vienna, Virginia where he had settled with his family. Over the last two decades Dr. Emad has furthered his studies and research in the fields of implants, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and periodontal disease.

He is a member of numerous dental groups and prestigious dental societies in Maryland and around the country. He was also recognized and received awards as one of the premier dentists in Northern Virginia. To add to his already lengthy list of achievements, he is also a trustee at the University of Maryland Professional Schools, a very special designation conferred to one only by his peers. He also proudly serves on the board of Visitors of the University of Maryland Dental School.

Dr. Emad is a believer in tutorship and mentorship both at both a personal and professional level. Out of his desire to help, he has been able to support and guide many young and up-and-coming dentists throughout his life. Giving back is one of the most rewarding parts of Dr.Emad’s life. He has been asked to speak at several major dental conferences and gatherings that discuss the future – as well as the challenges - of the dental care industry.

As part of his faith, Dr. Emad works as a volunteer at Saints Peter and Paul Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church in Potomac, Maryland.

First and foremost, however, Dr. Neal R. Emad is a devout family man who spends as much time as he can with his wife and three children. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, racquetball and skiing.
