6 Types of custom rubber products

Rubber is used in making various kinds of products. Rubber adds tolerance, elasticity and quality to products. Rubber products are designed for general purposes as well as on customer demands. Custom rubber products need measurements of the object for which they are being designed. There could be many kinds of rubber products that could be designed as per customer requirements. Some of them are following:

1. Belts

Belts are an elastic element of the belt drive in the engines of vehicles, agricultural machines and various industrial devices. There is a difference being introduced in flat belts and V-belts. The part of technology used in the production of flat rubber belts is same as the technology used for the production of conveyor belts. The belts industry is largely dependent on rubber.

2. Molded rubber goods

Almost 30,000 categories of molded manufacturing rubber products exist, counting parts for stuffing, sticking, and shock absorption, such as liners, rings with different cross sections, dust-protection, moisture-protection, and oil-protection caps, and rubber and metal shock absorbers. These products are made by instantaneously molding and vulcanizing rubber stock in a compression mold mounted on a press or by injection molding.

3. Unmolded rubber goods

Almost 12,000 types of unmolded manufacturing rubber products exist, which are used largely for fastening the windows and doors of motor vehicles, airplanes, and track cars and for hermetically sealing building boards. These products are manufactured in the form of bent strings of different lengths and diameters by the extrusion of the rubber standard and the following vulcanization of the semi finished product in tool for unceasing action or in reservoirs by intermittent batching.

4. Hoses

Hoses are elastic pipes used for carrying liquids, gases, and friable ingredients under additional pressure or under space. The basic components in the design of hoses are an internal fastening rubber sheet, a heavy-duty shell, and an outer rubber sheet. The internal and external sheets of a hose are finished by extrusion, the coating shell is applied on assembly equipment, and the grit or metal plating is applied on special plating equipment.

5. Rubber footwear

Rubber footwear industry makes a big use of customized rubber products. The rubber shoes are used mainly in electrical factories where the workers need to wear plastic shoes to avoid and survive from a heavy current that could be life taking. Mostly the electronics factories have such implications for their staff and workers.

6. Custom size tires

Normally vehicles have almost same size and diameter for tires. But there are certain equipment that is being designed for using in a factory for moving heavy metal machinery from one place to the other. Every factory or industry designs its moveable equipment depending upon the product they need to move so this may cause need of customized rubber tires which is an important rubber product.
