Do Ho Suh the expert artist, does he really do space travel in his original art for sale?

We have always amazed at astronauts like Neil Armstrong and Yuri Gagarin. These people were born genius and made their ways into space while others have their own small myriad spaces in day to day life. We make a small walk from our room to the kitchen, hall and other places. While moving from ground floor to terrace or the top most floor of the building is mostly like space travel. The usage of escalator, crosswalks, elevators, lifts make it easy for us to assume that we do constant space travel one time or the other in our lives. It is such a common phenomenon that the space travel or the altitude travel is barely even noticed. While a lot of us do not care much about it, an artist based in London is completely amazed by this type of travel that he could not stop thinking about it. This South Korean born artist uses almost the same amount of dedication the astronauts use during space travel to commute amongst common and private spaces of our day to day usage. He incorporates that in his buy original art painting.

He has recently launched an exhibition "Passage" where he has attempted to portray his discovery of travel into space. The original oil paintings artworks have been displayed in the Contemporary Arts Center on Friday. The display is promised to be continued until the 11th of September. His favorite medium of art is fabric. He has made a very soft and subtle usage of the colors to express his idea of space in his original oil paintings. The 53 year old artist has a lot of culture and world experience. He has toured several countries in his past. The artist has been absolutely mesmerized and drawn into the concept of transitional space. The latest technology of Facetime, timeline and several such concepts has given him the idea of translating transitional space on canvas. His earlier exhibition includes several transitional mediums such as stairs, doors, doorways, gates, corridors, lifts and elevators in his buying art paintings. It is so easy when noticed. The concept is very simple but we have been using it without our knowledge so far.

He continues to draw his inspiration through travels. Exclusively in order to use elevators and conveyer chains, he plans his travel. His buying art artworks are absolutely fueled by these tiny commutes. He is so focused on the travel than the destination. The space that connects the travel absolutely mesmerizes him. For the artist, life is not about reaching the destination, but about the journey of small spaces that it takes to reach the destination.

The father of the artist is a well renowned artist in United States, called by the name Seol. He started his journey as an artist in Rhode Island of Design where he attended the art school with his first wife. This was his additional course as the basic education was finished long back in Korea. He got his Post Graduation in the field of Yale University and continued his living in Berlin and New York. He has conducted several exhibitions and most of his exhibitions were sponsored.

The artist who is born in Korea mentions that it was one of the most difficult experiences to leave his home town. While he moved to United States, it was all Latin and Greek to him. He wishes he could go back in time and live a little more time in Korea. He was so proud about his birth place that he recollects the memories of inspiration in Korea. While his creativity was nurtured in United States, he got all his inspiration in Korea. The theory of transitional space has played a major role in his personal life as well.
