Creating white interiors- Things that matter

White interiors are more or less a retro thing : Scandinavians have been doing them for ages, the 1920s modernists had raved about them in their streamlined manifestos and hospitals had been all white for ease of sanitation. Architects today think they have invented white interiors. White themed designs are considered sleek, peaceful and chic. However, it isn’t easy to create an entire house or even just a living room in white, unless you know how to create the right volumes, shapes and contours and color palette and use the elements for the right effects. Start with one room

If you intend to create an all-white house by yourself, start with one room first. You never know how the design and your ideas are going to click, so it’s a better idea to experiment in a small scale. Find out what are durable and easily cleanable in white.
