Eric Schames - Business Analyst

Eric Schames is a Principal in StartupLoft (http://startuploft.com), a venture capital firm thatinvests in early-stage companies in the digital health and wearables space. Startup Loft’s largest investment is in Think Mobily (http://thinkmobi.ly), a mobile app developer focusing on digital health applications. Think Mobily utilizes several freelance mobile developers/programmers in Europe and ACube Technologies, an Indian based IT firm that outsources internationally. Currently, Think Mobily is working with developers in the UK (London), Netherlands (Amsterdam) and Czech Republic (Prague). These developers have been assisting Think Mobily in building out a mobile telemedicine platform called Symphony. Symphony is expected to start marketing in the United States at the end of Q2 2016 and internationally shortly thereafter. International target markets include: UK, Russia, Dubai and UAE. In fact, Think Mobily has already arranged to house all EU based health information and medical records with Equinix, Inc., one of the largest data center operators in Europe. The tentative Equinix location to house said data will be 101 Finsbury Pavement, London U.K. EC2A1RS. Concurrently with Startup Loft, Eric is Founder and CEO of OPUS Telehealth (http://opustelehealth.com), a US based telehealth provider, and Managing Member of its parent company OPUS Healthcare LLC. OPUS provides telehealth services (telemedicine and remote patient monitoring) to patients who suffer from co-morbidities such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.
