  6. Trust is there is no denial that aluminum rod tends to carry slightly a short life expectancy than steel but it is great for the applications for chucking a set of rods in the bracket racing engine every few passes like a nitro car.

Aluminum rod is produced using various processes like extrusion, rolling and coiling or they are drawn directly from molten aluminum. These are the processes which produce aluminum into circular or bar-shaped pieces and then it can be machined into several kinds of applications such as making of rivets, nails, screws and bolts. These rods are majorly used for racing purposes and despite all the myths, aluminum rods are selected for a vast number of applications.
