The use of boilers in industries is increasing day by day in industries and huge factories. These boilers are also known as steam engines in which conversion of water into vapour takes place with the help of boilers, furnaces and machines. Huge industries like tyre, paints and steel industries use different types of boilers to accomplish their work. The most preferred boilers are wood boiler and diesel boiler. When it comes to opting a boiler, people remain confused which one to choose. Let’s see which one is best for your industry purposes:

Wood Boilers

These conventional boilers use wood as their fuel and provide hot water from multiple openings at the same time. Wood boilers are partially automated and follow regulations of combustion of air. In the wood hydronic boilers, wood is fed one or twice a day during heating seasons. When one wants to get maximum efficiency, then very hot furnaces are best. The hot fire relatively moves to the holding tank, from where it is used for entire day.

The wood boilers are used in industry area for many years and still holding a good place in market. The cheap fuel option works best for industries.

Advantages:
  • Cheap fuel

  • Occupy less space

  • Less environmental impact

  • Easy to install

  • Portable

  1. Diesel Boiler

Diesel boilers use diesel as its fuel and needs prime motor to run the boiler. Continuous supply of electricity and diesel is needed to produce warm water or liquid from the boiler. To run out these boilers effectively, huge industries use steam power stations to fulfil the need of electric demand. Hydro power plants are also used in which water is used to produce electricity on large scale. Diesel boilers are used by people as it is a natural pollutant.

Advantages:
  • Simple in design

  • Adjustable in small space

  • Portable

  • Easy to install

  • No standby loss time

  • Easy cooling

  • Thermal efficiency is high

Although there are many advantages of diesel boiler still it produces a lot of pollution and expensive as compared to wood boilers. These boilers release harmful gases in the environment that are increasing global warming in atmosphere.

So, choosing any of them is your own choice but, wood fired hydronic boilers are efficient, environment friendly and advantageous as compared to diesel and other boiler types.
