If you've ever thought of starting your own campaign for your own business or idea, Indiegogo is a great place to begin raising funds. It's easy to use and won't take much time at all to get started. Indiegogo offers many helpful tools to help you launch your crowdfunding project. From mobile apps to perk options you'll have everything you need to help you get going. If you're out to help the community Generosity by Indigogo offers non-profit groups the option to keep everything they earn. To begin launching your crowdfunding campaign, you'll want to first open an account with Indiegogo.

Sign Up with The GoFundSystem

Enroll with the GoFundSystem when you're ready to launch. Then sign up with Indiegogo. You'll need an email address and password in order to sign up for an account. If you plan to accept PayPal transactions for any donations you might want to consider using your PayPal email address as your login email.

Once you've completed the sign up process, you must choose whether you want to raise funds for a project or a cause.

Follow the GoFundSystem's team instructions

Make sure you follow the consulting advice of the GoFundSystem team. They are experienced crowdfunders. On your project, if you're in a hurry to fill out the first page you'll miss out on all the subheadings on the left side of the screen, a few of which are required before you can launch your campaign. For an individual's campaign that is not a non-profit, you'll need to enter in all of the basic information first. Start with how much you'd like to raise and the title of your new campaign. A new screen will launch and you will be able to see all of the titles on the left: Basics, Story, Perks, Team, Funding, Extras, InDemand.

  • Basics – Write an introduction to your campaign.• Story – Explain more about your campaign and upload a video if you wish.• Perks – Where you offer incentives to encourage contributors to offer their support.• Team – Type in any information regarding the primary contact for your new campaign be it a group or yourself.• Funding – Specify your funding needs here. Whether you want flexible or fixed, PayPal and/or credit card donations.• Extras – Optional area to boost exposure for your campaign.• InDemand – Allows the campaigner to continue raising funding after the campaign date has ended.

Review Your Information

After you've filled out each required section simply click on review and launch. If you've missed anything there will be a message telling you to fill out what areas you've missed before it will allow you to launch your campaign.

Once you are ready to hit review and launch a new page will load telling you your campaign has begun. If you want to check on the status of it, simply log in and go to your name at the top right corner of the screen. Click on it and a drop down menu will appear. In the menu will list any campaigns you've begun. Simply click on the one you want to view. Log out when you're done.

Launching a crowdfunding campaign is easy with Indiegogo. It's a great way to begin raising funds to help make your vision become a reality. Learn more about starting and promoting your project with the gofundsystem.
