Know about Orissa's SOA University

SOA University - Siksha "O" Anusandhan University, situated in Bhubaneswar, Orissa is private and also deemed institution focused on research and development. The varsity envelopes nine schools which offer degree in different programs. SOA University was positioned 26th by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The main NIRF positioning rundown was released in April 2016.

It was initially established as Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) in the year 1996 in Bhubaneswar and it received AICTE approval for Undergraduate degree (B.Tech) courses. Since its origin it was subsidiary to Utkal University. In this manner it was partnered to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) somewhere around 2002 and 2007. Perceiving its commitment to specialized and proficient training the University Grants Commission (UGC), in 2007, pronounced Siksha "O" Anusandhan as a Deemed college by the U/S 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Since 2007, Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), Bhubaneswar became a constitute organization of Siksha O Anusandhan University. Presently the college has nine degree allowing schools and organizations. Different organizations and schools and divisions of SOA University are spread over more than 200 sections of land (0.81 km2) grounds in the city of Bhubaneswar. Siksha "O" Anusandhan was already perceived as an instructive society under Societies' Registration Act XXI of 1860.

Siksha "O" Anusandhan University has nine degree-providing schools and institutes that together offer undergraduate programs in designing, solution, drug store, business, nursing, biotechnology, farming and law; graduate projects in building, prescription, drug store, business, nursing, biotechnology, science, humanities, environment, nano innovation, materials science, horticulture and law and doctoral degrees in the above areas.
