Treatment with desensitization

In this method, efforts are made to change the pattern of response to the situation/object (phobia). Overtime slowly the individual is made to encounter repeated exposure to the underlying factor of the phobia. This would help them to cope up with anxiety. For example, if you're too afraid of learning an automated bike, the treatment starts with just imagining yourself riding the bike.

Thus, you go close to the vehicle, you start it with the key, press the clutch, use the appropriate gear and you move. First, you will sit in the vehicle, and then as you follow the advice of the therapy professionals, you will be more exposed to the vehicle. As you get exposed more frequently, you will become less sensitive to such situation.
