You don’t want the seams on any face that is visible. Seams are typically on the back or the bottom or on the ends. Once carpeted, it is time to install the speakers by wiring them to the terminals. If you opted to cut portholes, you can now install the ports. Make sure the ports are tight in the holes and that that they won’t get loose or push out by air movement or vibrations.
