Dr. Steve Ams Participates in Many Charitable Causes

Dr. Steve Ams is an international visionary leader and physician based in the United States. He has a wealth of knowledge in the healthcare, communication, real estate, oil & gas, energy, & software industries. He is a prolific writer, speaker, & television host who enhanced his teaching skills by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Theology, Hebrew and Greek from the Houston Graduate School of Theology. He also started Gospel America, a popular Christian TV show on TBN, and also been a TV host for TBN.
He is a philanthropist who has supported numerous charitable organizations. He served as the Board Chairman of the US based Nigerian Foundation, the Mayor’s International Affairs Development Council, Messiah Communications Network, Global Interests, LLC, Steve Ams Ministries, Transcom CDC, City Church and Minergy. Presently, he is the Director and Chairman of several non-profit boards that are aimed at developing communities and supporting the needy all over the world.

Cee Jay
Dr. Steve Ams has been involved in numerous global medical missions, of which Cee Jay is one. Cee Jay was started in 2000, and since then, it has contributed to community developments. It has organized 16 medical missions in Houston and abroad. The organization has also partnered with several countries in various humanitarian efforts, including Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Haiti, Nigeria, Uganda and United States.
During the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Cee Jay Medical Missions and City Church provided ministration, medical care, medical and personal hygiene supplies to the victims of that natural disaster. They operated a 24/7 center to provide humanitarian services to the evacuees. In addition, the ministry also provided medical specialists during the Labor Day weekend in collaboration with Harris County and Baylor College of Medicine to run clinics at the Astro Arena.
Global PCCA
Dr. Steve Ams founded Global PCCA, and also serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Through this company, he runs many humanitarian projects that are committed to bringing social and economic changes in Nigeria and other African countries. In 2014, the company partnered with the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi to establish and commission a drug compounding centre. With this effort, FMC Lokoja became the country’s first hospital to build a major drug compounding unit. The FMC Chairman charged the centre to find a solution to the Ebola virus.
