Earth Tone Rugs

It was a rainy day and I was sitting on the front porch. I was trying to relax with a hot cup of tea but I couldn’t help but think that the porch needed some color. I gazed around as I rocked in my wooden chair. I thought to myself that it was time to go online and buy outdoor rugs for the front porch. I knew I would find earthy rugs that would be durable enough for the porch but also look warm and inviting to guests who entered.

While looking online I discovered many different types of outdoor rugs. They are available to purchase in many different sizes, shapes, and colors. I found rectangle rugs that would look amazing on the front porch. Blue outdoor rugs will match the shudders. There are bright and vibrant green outdoor rugs that are woven to make the shapes of leaves. I may also like a round rug that has been woven into a swirl of blues and grays. There are so many to choose from that I may need to buy more than one rug. I think perhaps two so that I can have one beautifully colored outdoor rug for the front porch and one for the back porch.

While shopping online for outdoor rugs, I decide to buy a lovely rug that is nine feet long which will fit perfectly on the large porch. The rug is a vibrant green shaped into a vine with a sticky back so that it doesn’t slide if someone were to step on it. In addition, the rug will be very easy to clean simply by hosing it off or vacuuming with a hose attachment. The second outdoor rug that I chose is for the back porch. It is just as lovely with its olive earth tones and rectangular shape. This rug is great for the back porch as it has some of the same colors in it as the mud room does.

The runners that I chose for my outdoor rugs are perfect. They are durable and easy to clean. The material is going to last a long time even with people walking on it regularly. I love the earth tones that are a warm reflection of what is found in the outdoors. I can’t believe that it has taken me so long to find outdoor rugs for my porches. These are things I should have purchased when I first moved into my home. Now when it is raining, guests will have someplace to wipe their feet. I can then just hose the rugs off and allow them to dry.

In addition to being lovely additions to my porches, the outdoor rugs that I purchased were a great price. They were affordable for what I got and the shipping was reasonable compared to what I would have spent had I gone out of the house and spent the day at the store. Overall, buying outdoor rugs online was a pleasant experience.
