It is this popularity that has led to a massive rise in the number of McDonald’s restaurants in India. It is estimated that by 2022 there will be 500 McDonald’s outlets across west and south India in 50-55 cities. The company is currently racing forward with 30 to 50 new stores each year to strengthen its footprint.
