Dr. Steve Ams? Contributes to Various Non-Profit Organizations

Dr. Steve Ams is a founder of more than 20 organizations in the U.S. and Africa. He possesses knowledge of multiple industrial sectors and has established telecom companies, hospital projects, home care services, multispecialty physician clinics, oil and gas, energy, medical rehab centers, medical supply companies, construction, real estate development, technology, software and manufacturing companies. In addition, he has also provided leadership to various nonprofit organizations. He is ex-chairman of Nigerian Foundation in the United States, chairman of Global Interests, LLC, Mayor’s International Affairs Development Council, Steve Ams Ministries, City Church, and much more.
He established an oil and gas drilling company that set a new benchmark in a county in Mississippi. It is also considered to be the first Nigerian owned Oil Company to successfully drill for crude oil in the United States. The company is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). In addition his companies and partner engineering corporations are involved in green energy, gasification, and energy/power solutions for the continent of Africa. As?Pastor, Steve Onoja Ams is a servant leader committed to training others. He devotes his time and resources to assist in meeting the varied needs of their communities both in the United States and overseas. He is experienced in working with villages and cities of Nigeria, where he administered lifesaving medications to the needy and raised funds to donate capital equipment.
With his team, CeeJay, he brought together the city mayor, city leaders, major corporations, the US military, and over 300 mainline churches across all denominations and racial barriers to a city wide prayer and outreach crusade at George R. Brown Convention center in Houston. As a result of this event, more than 5,000 jobs were offered in a day by corporate partners and five full medical clinics offered care in Houston.
In December 2003, he led a U.S team of thirteen on a fiveday crusade and medical missions to the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Nigeria. The team provided services with 800 local churches, 28 medical doctors, 75 nurses, 7 pharmacists, and other Healthcare personnel. They provided treatment to more than 2,800 patients and led more than 4,000 souls to Christ. In his leisure time,?Dr. Steve Ams?likes to jog tracks. Usually, he jogs around 3kms to keep himself fit. In addition to jogging, he also devotes his time to global medical missions.
