Sports and entertainment marketing guru bill marshall joins strong eagle media as partner

Bill Marshall, Founder and President of TEAM Marketing, one of North America’s leading sports and entertainment marketing agencies is making the move to film, TV and new media by joining Strong Eagle Media the production and digital media company formed by Bert Bedrosian, Christian Tureaud and David Salzberg as a partner. Marshall’s TEAM Marketing has worked with some of the biggest global brands including ADT Security Services, OfficeMax, Vonage, Southwest Airlines, American Express, XM Satellite Radio, The PGA and LPGA Tours, The TRUMP Golf Division, as well as all the major networks to name a few.

Marshall will utilize his strategic brand relationships to package major marketing campaigns for Strong Eagle Media’s upcoming films as well as assisting in developing the growth of SEM. The company’s upcoming groundbreaking first-person film Citizen Soldier is set for release in May 2016. Citizen Soldier tells the gripping true story of African American patriot Sergeant Eran Harrill as he leads his Army National Guard Platoon on several dangerous missions in Afghanistan.

Marshall joins an impressive roster of senior industry executives at Strong Eagle Media. Late last year former Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Defense Wendy R. Anderson joined Strong Eagle as a partner.

Marshall combines a passion for sports and entertainment branding through synergistic partnerships as well as an extensive background in sales and marketing, Marshall established TEAM Marketing in 1994 to help link sports and entertainment properties with corporate branding needs. Prior to founding TEAM Marketing, Bill worked extensively in media sales, beginning with newspaper and magazine management and marketing as well as for a variety of sports properties, including the Director of The PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic as well as The Sales Director of The Miami Open Tennis Tournament, (formerly The Lipton), on Key Biscayne, Florida. His responsibilities included corporate sponsorships, athlete relations, media and promotions. Entrepreneurial by nature, Marshall currently owns some commercial real estate properties in South Florida which include an offices suites company and a sports bar and restaurant based in South Florida. A native of South Florida, Marshall attended the University of South Florida and currently resides in Hillsboro Beach, Florida.

Strong Eagle Media has five primary areas of focus: Military, Sports, Action Adventure, Original Television Series, and Digital Networks. Last week, the company announced a partnership with TV4 Entertainment to co-own and jointly launch and operate a slate of genre specific digital networks beginning this year.
