Dr. Steve Ams has Tremendous Working Experience in Various Industries

Dr. Steve Ams is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in different industries. He has established various corporations in different industry sectors including healthcare, real estate, construction, oil & gas, energy, technology, software, manufacturing, multi-specialty physician clinics, and telecom. His experiences include the fields of medicine, theology, and business management. He pursued his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Calabar, and his Master’s degree in Theology from the Houston Graduate School of Theology.

With his vast knowledge, he has a great interest in research and invention. His fascination for inventions led him to become a founder and CEO of more than 20 corporations in the United States and Africa. He has provided management for multiple companies of different sectors including medical rehab centers, multi-specialist physician clinics, medical supply companies, home care services, real estate development, telecom, construction, hospital projects, technology, software and manufacturing companies.

He founded an oil and gas drilling company that set a new standard in one of the counties in the State of Mississippi. It is the first Nigerian-owned oil company that achieved success in drilling for crude oil in the United States. The company is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). Dr. Ams’ companies and partner engineering corporations are involved in gasification, green energy, and energy/power solutions for Africa. His oil and gas companies are heavily vested in commodity trading and refined petroleum products supply to airline corporations and other customers.

Besides handling various organizations at the global level, he has also provided leadership to various non-profit organizations. He served as ex-chairman of the Nigerian Foundation in the United States, Chairman of the Steve Ams Ministries, Global Interests, LLC, Mayor’s International Affairs Development Council, Transcom CDC, City Church, and others.

Dr. Steve Ams devotes his time to helping out communities to meet their varied needs in the United States, as well as other locations. He has worked with villages and cities of Nigeria, where he provided life-saving medications to the needy. He also raised funds to donate capital equipment for the benefit of these societies. In 2003, he led a U.S team on medical missions at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, Nigeria. The team offered their services to 800 local churches, 7 pharmacists, 28 medical doctors, 75 nurses, and other healthcare personnel. Through their team effort, they were successful in providing treatment to more than 2,800 patients.
