The human race is divided into two clear parts. One part comprises of those people who love to read, and the other minor part comprises of the ones who do not read. The latter category is just not my type, because how can one not love to read when the world is full of too many disturbing forces. Reading soothes your soul and increases your creativity manifold. Once you develop the habit of reading on the regular basis, you will love to play with the words, which would eventually broaden your intellectual. Also, you will always be well updated about the information regarding the world on various grounds like robotics, science, love and lifestyle hacks. You will find it extremely peaceful and relaxing when you make it a habit of reading to sleep. Upon realizing the importance and benefits of reading, you will start buying too many books that satisfy your taste of reading. But the problem enters the scenario when it becomes too difficult to manage your collection of books. You will not love it when you lose your limited editions. Therefore, it is very important to bring home a bookshelf to safely stack your books. The bookshelves do not only safely store your books but also give you enough space to display your unique art pieces and photo-frames, so that you add to the decor. Bringing home an apt bookshelf is a correct decision, but you might get confused, about what style to choose, so do not worry and just take a look at the following styles of the Bookshelves available:
  • Standard: These are the most commonly found type of wooden bookshelves that are made of wood. They provide the confined space for the storage of books and they, in fact, can not display the display items like showpieces, photo frames, etc. pretty well. The key feature they own is the back cover, which makes it look like a hardcore library shelf. These are the dedicated for the book storage and have two types of shelving, that is, either the shelves are evenly spaced, or there are adjustable shelves.
  • Etagere: If you want a bookshelf that is not going to be much in use, then etagere is just your type. It is very delicate and can not provide dedicated much space for the storage of books. It is more used for display purpose, rather than for the book storage. They are made of glass or steel and bring style to your living area.
  • Ladder: They look extremely stylish as they lean against the wall. The ladder style bookshelves decrease in size from bottom to top. They are a great selection to display your beautiful art pieces on. Keep it in the living area or the study room or the bedroom; you will find it mixing well with any home decor easily.
  • Corner: If you do not have sufficient floor space to store a long wide bookshelf, then do not worry, your books won’t stray. Go for the space-savers corner bookshelves that lodge themselves at right angles into any or the corner of your living area and still stack your books safely. This is not a good choice if you have to display some display items because nobody is going to peep into the corners of your room to see your display. So, choose it only when you are running short on space. They might have short or long height, depending on your need.
  • Scaffold: Shelving facilitated between the two ladder-like support is the key feature of this kind of bookshelf. They too look like the ladder, but the only difference is that neither do they lean nor do they decrease or increase from top to bottom. Your books and your collectibles will stand happily on this bookshelf.
  • Cube: The cubic book cases are divided into both the horizontal and vertical segment as per your need. Although they are not made to display the collectibles, if you go for some contemporary cubic designs, storage of both, your books and antiques look commendable with this type. They can fit each style and each budget, but the only problem that you might ever face is that if the size of the book you want to stack in the bookshelf is too big to enter, then they fail on the grounds of flexibility.
  • Built in: Some bookshelves ca be the room-dividers, and some might be the ones built inside the walls of your room. A perfect bookworm will lose his heart to this style. You can get the sections and the spaces designed custom, keeping in mind your collection. They add character to the room and make it look like a reader hub.
  • Those were some styles that can be a supreme addition to your home along with being a very useful piece of furniture. So, before you loose your most favorite novel, just stack it on the bookshelf and flaunt your collection like a boss!
