Here are some of our top requests!

Ombre

Ombre means darker at the base root of the hair to gradually getting lighter at the ends of the hair. It creates two-toned effect where the bottom portion of your hair looks lighter than your top portion. Ombre is sported by many celebrities and Alexa chung Jessica Behl & Lily Aldridge. Your hair stylist will take sections of hair & will back comb the hair to create diffused softness at the root to mid length leaving the lower end of the strands free your stylist will then apply lightener. This creates gradual color change from root to drama towards the end.

Sombre

Sombre is softer version of Ombre. Ombre creates lot of drama and sombre color is softer. Many people opt for Sombre it is more gradual & subtle. Since Sombre creates a softer tone it sometimes is more accepted in cooperate world. Somber is very flattering for brunettes for creating caramel, honey & gold tones.

Blondes somber can look stunning with variation of dark to light blond. Since it is low maintainence, this technique is here to stay.

Balayage

Balayage is a free form of highlights for all hair types. Most of the Hollywood celebrities have balayage in their hair, Giselle, Sarah Jessica Parker, Erin Wasser to name a few, many of them sport balayage. It gives a very natural sun kissed look to your highlights breaking away from the traditional uniformity look of highlights and gives your hair more versatility with low maintenance results. Balayage emerged from France, which means to sweep or paint. Color or lightener is used to paint in free form. This is truly an art and requires full focus and should be done by a highly train hair professional. Depending upon the look & application technique it can give bold, subtle or natural results. It starts with painting lightly from the hair root base to the ends where it is painted heavily. This application gives it very natural appeal. Balayage is a specialized technique and requires an artistic eye. Balayage can be done on short pixie hair to long hair. Again, this technique is here to stay as it is low maintenance and grows out without a line of demarcation. Your hair looks dimensional and will enhance your facial features.

Baby lights

Baby lights are delicate subtle dimensional highlights resembling baby’s hair. It is also known as micro painting. Baby lights are different than Balayage, Traditional highlights or Sombre where the color is applied to large pieces of hair to create customizable look. Babylights are very finely done with foils on fine sections of hair and leaving fine strands of hair without color. The results are stunning & dimensional. Babylights are excellent way to achieve lightness in the hair without making a huge color commitment. Baby lights are most beautiful when you choose a hair color only few shades lighter than your shade making the placement less uniform so it appears natural & fresh. You can achieve baby lights with more than one color within the same family of tone.

Pastel pop

If you want to show your fun side or express yourself as very outgoing, this technique looks great when done all over or in smaller section of hair or a peek-a-boo effect. Pastel shades can be fun vibrant and versatile. Baby pink, purple, grey lavender are the shades you will see women sporting everywhere. More than 2 Pastel shades can be colored together to achieve an even more fun result. Pastel hair involves a double process and requires much more commitment, as you will need to pre lighten the hair followed by the application of your favorite color. Pastel colors tend to fade very quickly so try to space out shampooing your hair and in cooperate dry shampoo. Shampoos which are sulphate free and regular toning are required as upkeep.

AND DON’T FORGET...Please incorperate olaplex & regular treatments to keep your hair bonds strong and healthy!
