Christ University : Details about Placements

Christ University is located in Bangalore, it was established in 1969 as Christ College Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara who is the founder of CMI congregation. It is a Deemed Private University and got recognized by UGC(University Grant Comission) in year 22nd July 2008. University is also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The University offers various courses in different stream altogether and following are the list of courses currently offered by the University

Btech, B.tech (Lateral entry), BCA, BA, B.Sc, B.Com (F&A), BBA – Tourism and Travel, BHM, B.com, B.com(H), M.Phil, MBA, MBA Travel and Tourism, MBA Finance management, B.com Professional, BBA FIB, M.Tech,. Besides these programmes, doctoral programmes is also offered by the University.

University is internal student friendly also and have special provision for International students, any student who is a foreign citizens, PIO card holders, OCI dual citizens can apply in international category for admission.

Christ University has student welfare office which take cares of, skills and talents of the students. This society is divided into 5 parts, Volunteer body, Cultural team, choir team, dance team, Quiz Association. It also has center for health and counseling services which motivates the students and provide counseling and health services to students. There is induction counseling, personal counseling followed by academic counseling conducted by the council. The placement and guidance center is also built for the students which take care of the career avenues of the students.
