The nation was severely affected when it was hit by recession few years back. But time has changed things a lot, the economy is trying its best to move out of the shadows of recession. Among all the cities Austin has shown remarkable progress and as far as the WalletHub study of the fastest growing economies is concerned, it currently holds the top spot in the country for spurring economic growth. This is indeed the city which has shown amazing growth despite being hit by recession and now this ninth largest city in the nation is leaving behind all other cities in terms of financial progress.
In the survey, Austin managed to get an impressive score of 67.91 while beating other cities. Now take a look at how other cities have fared in the survey. Miami managed to grab the second spot, whereas Fort Worth claimed the third spot closely followed by Denver which was placed in fourth place. The tenth and eleventh position went to Houston and San Antonio respectively. Austin's meteoric rise has not taken anyone by surprise because it has been growing steadily for the last few years.
Right now it happens to be one of the most financially prosperous places in the country to live in. The job market here is flourishing and creating plenty of job opportunities for the young generation.
