PGDAV College

Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo-Vedic in short PGDAV College is one of the oldest colleges of the University of Delhi. It is a constituent college of University of Delhi. It is situated in Delhi and was established in 1957 and it is a part of South campus. Dr. M.M Goyal is currently principal of the college.

The governing committee of the college comprises headed by Dr. S.R. Arora who is chairman, Sh. J.K. Kapur, (Treasurer), Sh. Shrideep Omchery, Shri Prabodh Mahajan,Prof. S.M.S. Chauhan, Prof. Renu Deswal, Dr. S.K. Sama, Sh. Satish Kumar Sharma, Shri S.P. Puri, Mr. Mahesh Chopra, Sh.R.K. Sethi, Shri Bal Krishan Mittal, Dr. Sushma Arya, Ms. Rita Gupta, Sh. O.P. Aggarwal, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dr. Satyakam Sharma, Dr. Pramod Kr. Sethi, Dr. Ravinder Kumar Gupta and Dr. M.M. Goyal.

The college has various infrastructure facilities like:

Classrooms: College has projectors; there are total 16 classrooms and 12 small rooms. There are separate common rooms for girls and boys and separate rooms for NSS, Cultural activities.

Library: It has over 85000 books and various study material.

Computer lab: Campus has Wi-Fi and has a well-quipped computer lab.

Seminar room: It has fully air-conditioned seminar room

24*7 power backup

Canteen facilities: It can accommodate up to 200 people at a single point of time.

Besides this the college has bank facilities and parking facilities. It has placement cell also which take cares of placement procedure of the students.

PGDAV College currently offers courses like BA pass, B.Com, B.Sc, B.SC(H), B.com(H), M.A, M.Sc in Mathematics, M.Com. Eligibility for admission in under graduate courses is a 12th class percentage and has centralized admission based on cut-off. This year cut-off of computer science is as high as 9.

Total of 300 students are selected for placement. Besides this, the college has scholarship facilities for students.
