Jet Airways is one of India’s premier and favorite private sector airlines with a domestic market share of approximately 25%.Jet Airways share price was at life time high of Rs.1382.75 on 26-Apr-05. The company’s net sales of the stood at Rs.20572 cr during the year ended 31st March 2016 as compared to Rs.19381 cr in FY’15 reporting a growth of 6.15 per cent or Rs.1192 cr. Impacted by the fall in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) Jet Airways reported a 180 degrees turnaround in its Operating Profit for the year which read at Rs.1240 cr in FY’16 as compared to a loss of Rs.1124 cr in FY’15. The PAT stood at Rs.1202 cr for FY’16 as compared to a loss of Rs.2101 in FY’15. EPS for FY’16 stood at Rs.106.66 compared to Rs.184.64 in FY’15.On 14th July 2016, Jet Airways share price opened at Rs.566.80 on NSE.
