SNAP Exam : An overview of the Exam

SNAP Exam Details
Symbiosis International University (SIU) established in 2002 is a private co-educational, multi-institutional university located in Maharashtra and was first affiliated by University of Pune and later got university status in 2002. The University is been recognized by UGC, AICTE.
Also NAAC has accredited the university and given them 'A' grade. Founded by Padmashree S. B. Mujumdar, it is a part of Symbiosis society which was established in 1971. It was given autonomous status in 2002 by the Ministry of Human Resources Development and since then has opened many more institutes affiliated with it.
SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is conducted by Symbiosis International University every year in December since 1997. It is national level entrance examination conducted for MBA admissions in various colleges affiliated to Symbiosis International University.
This test is mandatory for the following colleges and their respective courses:
SIBM - Pune – MBA and MBA (Innovation and Entrepreneurship)
SICSR - MBA (Information Technology) and M.Sc (Computer Applications)
SCMHRD – MBA and MBA (Infrastructure Management)
SIIB - MBA (International Business), MBA (Agri Business) and MBA (Energy & Environment)
SITM - MBA (Telecom Management)
SIMS – MBA
SIMC- Pune- MBA (Communication Management)
SIOM- Nashik - MBA (Operations Management)
SCIT - MBA (Information Technology Business Management)
SIHS - MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management)
SIBM - Bengaluru – MBA
SSMC, Bengaluru - MBA (Communication Management)
SSBF (Formerly Symbiosis School of Banking Management - MBA (Banking and Finance)
SIBM, Hyderabad – MBA
The Duration of Symbiosis National Aptitude test is 120 minutes and following are the different sections of Snap Test:
General English – Comprises of 40 marks
Quantitative, DI and DS – Comprises of 40 marks
General Awareness – Comprises of 40 marks
Analytical & logical Reasoning – Comprises of 60 marks
The entrance exam is conducted overall in 30 cities
The university also follows certain guidelines related to Reservation Guidelines for the admission process through the SNAP Test.

The payment procedure for the exam is online payment through Credit card, through Net banking, through Cash, through Demand draft.
Candidates opting for this exam need to register themselves online for snaptest.org. Currently, the SNAP test fee is Rs.1500. The candidate is required to report at the Test Centre before half an hour of the given time.
