How to clear SSC CGL Exam in first attempt?

Every year Staff Selection commission conducts the combiner graduate level exam for various posts. This recruitment is done by online exam. Lakhs of candidate apply for the SSC CGL Exam & only thousands of candidates are selected. Candidates has been preparing for SSC CGL exam for 2-3 year still they did not get selected. Many reasons are behind this. We are bringing some valuable tips to clear the SSC CGL Exam in first step. According to the latest news SSC CGL admit card 2016 is going to release very soon.

Firstly, of all make up your mind at least 3 months prior to SSC CGL tier 1 exam. Either you are from Hindi medium or English medium, this will not be going to affect the exam. The second thing is either you are from math’s background or not, this is also not going to effect.

You only need a concentration, proper planning & hard work.

SSC CGL tier 1 Exam has four sections

  6. Blood Relations
  7. Analogy
  8. Series
  9. Mirror & water image

The only suggestion for this section is solve previous year question papers & do practice a lot.

SSC CGL Quantitative Aptitude

In this section, you need a basic knowledge of each topic. You need to learn know to solve questions in less time by using short cut methods, this can be done only when you know the basic concepts. You have to learn all the basic formulas. The questions are asked from the following topics.

  1. Percentage
  2. Profit & loss
  3. Data interpretation
  4. Geometry
  5. Trigonometry
  6. Algebra
  7. Mensuration
  8. C.I. & S.I.
  9. Time, distance & work
  10. Linear equations

SSC CGL English section

This section requires a lot of practice. Candidate thought that this is easy section, but in reality it is tough. The option looks right is not actually right. To score high one should learn the basic grammar rules. You should cover the following topics

  1. Grammar rules
  2. Comprehension – it is quite easy
  3. Antonyms & Synonyms
  4. Idioms & Phrases
  5. One-word substitution
  6. Preposition

SSC CGL General Awareness Section

This section is considered as the most important section in the exam because, you know the answer or don’t know the answer, it saves your precious time. The factor is how much you are preparing for this section. This section can be highly scoring if you are well prepared. Deep reading is not required.

English & general awareness section can be scoring part of you if you prepared well because it is time saving. Quantitative aptitude can be tough & reasoning depends on presence on mind.
