Tamil Nadu is one of those Indian states that contributes largely to the business enterprises sector and also towards the generation of employment and it was ranked as the third most developed state in India. It was also the second largest state economy in India in 2012. The state is free from any kind of capitalism and some people wrongly believe that the ruling party of the state has connections with industrialists like S. Vaikundarajan, who influence the various decisions taken by them. However, this is not the real story; the truth lies in the fact that the government is independent and does get influenced by anyone.

VV Minerals on the other hand, carries out its business without any help from the government because they always follow all the guidelines set forth by the government and hence, there is no need for them to seek redressal from anyone. Having been in the heavy mineral mining industry for over years makes them one of the major players in Tamil Nadu as they contribute highly towards the heavy mineral exports from the Country.

The Aam Aadmi Party also accused VV Minerals, Vaikundarajan of the same. They too have misjudged the entire scenario and do not know the truth behind all this. What people do not know is that S. Vaikundarajan has singlehandedly set up such a big company and he is the only one responsible behind its success. S. Vaikundarajan has selflessly done a lot towards the society also. He feels that he also owes to the environment and society and thus, he is always thinking of doing well for the society.

VV Minerals also fulfills its social responsibilities even after being a private company. Their CSR initiatives involve health and awareness camps for their employees and also people of the nearby villages. Initiatives like helping deserving students to acquire knowledge they cannot afford, for which VV Group has established VV College of Engineering. Always helping the society and conducting fair trade has been the motto for VV Minerals, Vaikundarajan.

The whole controversy over VV Minerals having close commercial connections with the Tamil Nadu government was blown out of proportion and was exaggerated. People should understand that it is not easy to run such a big company like VV Minerals and they should not make their work more difficult by putting false allegations of a thorium scandal on them. Although it was not very difficult for VV Mineral, Vaikundarajan to get out of this scam as they knew for a fact that they had not committed any wrong activity like this however, they did suffer huge losses because of this. The Indian economy suffered huge losses on the whole because VV Minerals was asked to put a halt on their business activities and they support the economy in ways more than one. Therefore, it is advised that people should not believe any such news that comes their way. Such rumors always find their way into our lives but we should choose to stay away from them.
