Fever is the common illness as it occurs with the change of season or change of lifestyle. Thermometers are used to measure the temperature of the body. There are varieties of thermometers available, each with a specific use. Different thermometers are present according to the demand of the patients and different uses are available.

Basic types of thermometers are present here-

Traditional Thermometer

It is designed for home use as it helps to measure the temperature of human body and it provides the measurement in F or C.

Resistance Thermometer

It helps to measure the temperature between -250 and 700 degrees.

Thermocouple Thermometer

It helps to measure the temperature between -250 and 1600 degree Celsius. It helps to notice the difference between hot and cold junctions through the current in the attached probes.

Temperature Strips

It is a temperature strip which measure’s the temperature of the body due to liquid crystals that react to heat. It is usually present on forehead and can be judged as it changes the color. It does not gives accurate results basically used on infants which are now replaced with digital thermometers.
