Book a Georgia cabin rental when you plan a foliage trip to North Georgia during the fall season. The colors of the leaves start turning in mid-October and peak in late October or even early November. The forest woods look very vibrant with the auburn, rust and gold leaves and are a sight to remember. Blue Ridge and Ellijay cabins are a great way to take pleasure in the fall colors. They have the covered porches and wrap around decks where you can spend the entire afternoon enjoying the mountain views.

Besides the colorful forest, there are various other scenic lookouts that you may want to discover. The Blue Ridge Mountains are full of waterfalls. If you are staying at a log cabin, look for trails that lead to the streams, lakes, and waterfalls. You can check the map of the area or take guidance from a tour operator who can arrange a trip for you. Waterfalls look stunning when surrounded by vibrant fall colors. The sight looks magical with the white water falling over rocks surrounded by trees full of colorful leaves.

Zip lining is another way to enjoy the season. You can take your first lessons at the Blue Ridge Zipline Canopy Tours & Adventure Park. They have an adventure course and zip lines over 165-acre land. Gaze at the mountains from the tree tops, and cross the Fighting Creek and the fodder in an exciting way. The adventurous kind like the adventure of whitewater rafting at the Ocoee Rafting Center! The rafting trips run on weekends in the months of April, May, September and October only.

If you have kids with you, a special trip can be arranged for them keeping their likes and dislikes in mind. They can visit the local farms to pet the animals, enjoy gem mining or use a pond to catch fish. For picking apples and pumpkins visit the Mercier Orchard in Blue Ridge, Panorama Orchard, Hillcrest Orchard and R&A Orchards in Ellijay.

If you are there in October do not miss the Grandpa Jones Corn Maze and Pumpkins event, open daily in Ellijay. The Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay also draws a lot of crowds. The entire family will like to visit the Georgia State Parks in autumn where you can hike to the lovely waterfalls.

River Ritz is a well-decorated log cabin located on the banks of Ellijay River. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath Georgia cabin rental is an ideal choice for those who like to fly fish or tube down the river. The large outdoor hot tub lets you watch the scenic views of the area while you soak. The fire-pit near the riverside can be used to roast hot dogs and smores. Your pets can stay safe on the gated deck throughout your stay.
