What is an Autoclave?

It is a medical instrument that was created by French Microbiologist Charles Chamberlain in 1879. This device is used to destroy the microorganism that uses steam and is a dependable system that is used for sterilization in glassware, media and laboratory reagents. Today, there are different types of laboratory autoclaves available in the market. The simplest of them all looks similar to a pressure cooker that contains water inside which is heated to boil and thus, the steam causes the destruction of microorganisms.

Portable Autoclave

Portable autoclave sterilizers are specifically designed for the sterilization jobs at nursing homes, dental clinics and hospitals etc. The standard model of such systems usually comes with 5 to 20 liters of capacity. Apart from the standard models, they are also available in custom made sized at some firm. These autoclaves provide worry free performance, safe operation and maximize efficiency. They have ergonomic and easy to handle design and weight. Moreover, they have a small size which makes them easy to place and occupy low space. These devices have basic function and simple to use with a no requirement for installation. Simply plug it and use.

Frontload Autoclave

A thermodynamic autoclave is a traditional cylindrical vessel that is mostly used in research, quality assurance facilities and education. There are several companies that offer high quality free standing cylindrical front loading autoclaves. They offer:

  • Energy and water saving capacity

  • Industry favored computerized control system that produces ease of operation and flexibility

  • Streamlined construction and design with minimized maintenance

  • Low maintenance yet high reliability

Fully Automatic Autoclave

They have a pedal free system that enables to lift the lid of the device easily and reduces the loading height. Fully automatic autoclaves are provided with a unique Flexible Load Sensor and thus enabling the user to place the sensor anywhere throughout the chamber. It helps the user to track the desired temperature with achieved.

The Micro processor controller provides the facility to program the cycles with a feather touch panel. Moreover, they also provide options for slow cooling and fast cooling which depends on the load configuration. The robust build autoclaves have the latest welding technique giving you higher working pressure as well as test pressure. Robustly built chamber is capable of giving you working pressure of 20 PSI and test pressure of 30 PSI

What is Laboratory Incubator?

A laboratory incubator is a device that is heated and insulated box used to maintain and grow the microbiological or cell cultures. The incubator maintains the optimum humidity, temperature, gaseous content of the atmosphere inside. Several incubators also include a programmable timer which can be used to set to cycle through different humidity levels and temperatures. Many laboratory incubator manufacturers also produce devices vary in size ranging from table top units to large sized systems as that of cupboards.
