Finding jobs after university should be exciting. But many BBA graduates end up feeling frustrated and frightened, solely due to one reason - they need to have an experience to get a job! Don't let work experience stop you from applying for a job where otherwise you meet most of the requirements. Read below how management graduates can prepare their CV with little or no work experience to mention:

  • Identify your most impressive qualities: While writing a CV, all you need to do is to figure out is what you’re selling! Jot down all the things you’re good at on a piece of paper, irrespective of whether they are professional or not. Cross-check your list with the required skills employers are looking for. It can be teamwork or quick learning; all you need to do is identify your selling points.
  • Emphasize on your skills rather than roles: If you don’t have any previous experience or irrelevant experience, start your CV with a list of skills you’ve acquired. Employers tend to find them much more interesting and see it as a strong attempt of selling yourself. Many universities and
BBA Colleges in jaipur, such as Poornima University, offer opportunities to participate in various clubs to enrich your skills.

  • Mention other skills: Are you accustomed with any software or languages? Freshers mostly skip to mention such skills as they think they are obvious, irrelevant or unimportant.
  • Treat your extra-curricular activities like jobs: Volunteering for unpaid activities doesn’t mean you didn’t gain valuable business skills. Point out all your volunteer roles in detail –the length of time, relevant tasks and skills you developed. Some of the
Top MBA College in Rajasthan offer opportunities to participate and volunteer in extra-curricular activities to help students gain additional skills for learning beyond academics.

Every graduate should know that little or no work experience does not mean you are ineligible for the role. If you promote the right skills and achievements, employers will be bound to see you as a perfect fit for their company.
