While removing the label from the carrier which is also known as the liner where the labels are pasted; pull the carrier away while taking off the label. Just take one of the labels and take off the carrier simultaneously. By doing this you will not end up having any kinds of curls on the labels. This is one of the most important things to consider.

Once you have removed the label from the carrier; now you need to handle it from the edges, make sure that you don’t touch the sticky side of the label as it can be contaminated with the touch of the fingers as self adhesive labels should not come in the touch of dirt, skin or any kind of grease.

The place where you need to put the label also matters a lot, so before you put the sticker, the area of the pasting should be clean and it should be free from any kind of oil, water, dust or grease otherwise such things can come between the adhesive of the labels which will again make them more fragile and sticky.

So, while applying the pressure sensitive labels you need to take care of peeling them from the carrier and pasting them at a clean place as well.
