The benefits of using the longitudinal seam welding machine can save time and cost involving running 2 machines separately. Longitudinal Seam Welding Machine mainly consists of two parts i.e. automatic machinery part and welding source. The Machinery Part is designed as keyboard type copper pressing mechanism for regular and stable clamping and cooling effect. Automatic machinery part is adopted from PLC controller. Welding Source Part offers types which are TIG (tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding), MIG (metal inert gas shielded arc welding) MAG (metal active gas arc welding), SAW (submerged arc welding), PAW (plasma arc welding).

Types Of Longitudinal Seam Welding Machine:

PAW: It is designed for Galvanized Steel Sheet with thickness of 1.5-4mm. With less deformation and higher precision, it avails full-penetration welding by one-time. The thickness range of welding sheet is 0.5-8mm and this is used for linear butt-welding of metal sheet such as galvanized sheet, stainless steel, carbon steel. Zinc on GI will be blown away and not stick to Tungsten rod with PAW.

MIG: This type of welding machine is available below 4mm without opening groove and it could be penetrated fully by one time. Used avidly in industries like Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder, Liquefied natural gas (LNG) cylinder, Porcelain enamel tank-inner tank and Large scale cryogenic storage tank for various applications. It provides one sided welding with double-side forming with a high welding speed of 1000mm per minute.

TIG: Designed for straight line and linear welding applications, it very easy to work with and it can provide you with one time full penetration welding for plate below 4mm without groove. It can be controlled easily welding using height, width and height and especially for pulse TIG welding. It is ideal seam quality which is easier to polish than that of MIG welding.

Longitudinal Seam Welders are designed for cylinders with high requirements for internal welding quality. The weld seam has a groove to form a weld on the bottom of a welded plate and provide consistent gas flow to the back of the weld to assure the stable gas shield and ensure double-side forming in single side welding. Used in various industries for its varied applications, these are extremely popular in the market for its welding capabilities.
