During the Vietnam War, Buddhist monks poured gasoline all over their bodies and set themselves on fire to protest the insane torture and killing of war, and yet somehow they didn’t even feel the pain. That kind of sacrifice is an obvious gesture of true love, and Jesus Christ would agree, not to mention Moses, Mohammed, Lao Tzu, Krishna, Patanjali, Mary Magdalene, and many other relatives.
