If the design includes so many blind holes in a different position on the product, these parts may have to be rotated after they are submerged to clean any entrapped air.

If you are cleaning any small parts which can be shaken once submerged, shake the basket of the cleaner after submersion, as this will be able to release a number of air pockets as the parts are moved in position.

Do Not Stack Parts One above Another:

Ultrasonic cleaning solution works best when it cleans a single layer of parts. If parts are located one top of another, the bottom parts will receive much more ultrasonic cleaning power than the top parts. This is known as ultrasonic shadowing.

The amount of energy absorbed by ultrasonic cleaning tank will depend upon the material of construction, and also on the weight of the items. Heavy parts will absorb more power than the lighter parts.

If parts are cleaned in a large amount of quantities, set the limit of the thickness of the part batch, especially when it removing contaminants which are highly connected to the surface, such as coatings, burned carbons, or other similar contaminants.

Oscillate Your Product During Ultrasonic Cleaning:

If you have seen an ultrasonic cleaner system in action, you will notice that contaminants are not blasted away from the surface of the parts, but are rather lifted smoothly from the surface. This is especially essential to believe when cleaning the parts with details, blind holes, or parts cleaned in bulk, since the design of the material being cleaned and can also entrap these contaminants, thereby preventing it from being free into the ultrasonic cleaning solution.
