The VCORE SV Series is a new line from Yonex and it is gaining a lot of new fans. This line of tennis racquets promises to "put a positive spin" on one’s game by driving shots high over the net and then fiercely down into the court, therefore causing a drastic reduction in the opponent's reaction time. Tennis rackets in the VCORE SV line are equipped with New Aero Fin Technology for superior spin and control. These rackets come in undersized grip sizes (G0 to G2) for increased comfort. Sizes G3 and up are for players who are more used to thick grips they also good for beginners who are looking for a new tennis racket.

Yonex has never been known to produce frames that improve spin, but all that has changed with the introduction of the VCORE SV Series. After all, the SV stands for Spin Vortex. The fins inside the tip of the frame and inside the hoop decrease wind drag, thereby increasing swing speed. Yonex also uses Nanometric XT—a flexible carbon material—inside the racquet’s upper portion for facilitating better ball pocketing as well as longer frame kickback that is helpful for increasing propulsion.

There are currently seven frames in the VCORE SV Series line; 98 and 100 are available in two weights. The VCORE SV Series takes the place of the previous Yonex VCORE Tour F as well as Si families, as the brand wants to combine the features of both frames into one line to simplify their offerings. The VCORE SV Series perfectly balances spin and control. These racquets sit in between DR frames and the Duel G line.

One of the most notable rackets in the Yonex VCORE SV line is the 100, which is actually an updated version of the VCORE Si 100. It features a more powerful and slightly thicker beam plus all the spin friendly technologies you can expect from this family. The VCORE SV 100 has gained quite a following with intermediate as well as advanced ball strikers. It is light and user-friendly because of its SV Frame technology—a combination of flexible carbon materials and a more aerodynamic beam shape. The VCORE SV 100 is compatible with Sony Smart Tennis Sensor. Players who are looking for spin, precision, and speed in a comfortable and user-friendly package will love this lightweight racquet.
