There’s a reason why shoppers wait in line at ungodly hours during Black Friday. Black Friday traditionally kicks off the shopping season in the United States. Smart shoppers not only get an early start on their holiday shopping, but they can also save a considerable amount of money in the process.

Black Friday starts the day after Thanksgiving. But there’s a lot more involved to getting the best deals than just showing up early to your local mail. Shoppers should always start preparing at least two weeks in advance.

What are the Specific Shopping Preparations?

Although waiting in line is a lot like a lucrative crap shoot, it doesn’t always pay off. Some stores will lure customers in without offering any tangible benefits. Additionally, some stores will offer deep discounts on a few products without providing the same savings on the rest of their stock.

Don't forget to make your shopping list

The first thing that you should do when you prepare for the black Friday is to make your shopping list. I remember when I was young i could sit for hours watching black Friday ads and I wanted everything. And now a 10 years later I haven't changed a lot which is the reason that I firstly decide what to i want to buy from a particular sale and then searching only for this particular item. Otherwise you risk to end with a bunch of cheap but unusable stuff.

So adapt your list of wanted items with the ones that are on sale and you'll be on the right way, you can swap out a book title or choose a different movie or video game based on what is available.

Check the online sales

Don't forget to check the online sales, sometimes the online retailers like amazon or emag.bg in Bulgaria (which is the country where I live) make a lot more discounts that the physical stores. This way you can save the rush and finish your Black Friday's shopping even without leaving the comfort of your home.

Pick a Shopping Buddy

If you don't find the desired items online then go at the Mall with a buddy that have the same interests as you - this way you will save time and efforts, because 2 persons will search for the same products which reduce the efforts at half.
