Some say that all the rituals followed in Hinduism are just insane and have no significance. These people claim themselves to be ardent followers of science and advancement. But, here comes the twist!

Do you know? Our forefathers belonging to the ancient generation were much more aware of scientific happenings and implemented them cleverly in their life.

Ritual:

Married Indian women apply Sindoor(Vermillion) as it is mandatory for them.

Science behind:

The place where vermillion is put has a pituitary gland. Vermillion is composed of mercury, lime and turmeric and putting it on the glands will control the blood pressure.

Ritual:

Putting Bindi or Tilak in forehead is mandatory for Indian women who are married.

Science behind:

The place between the two eyebrows has a major nerve point. On putting the Bindi it automatically gets pressed hence increasing concentration and controlling energy loss.

Ritual:

Women wear toe rings.

Science behind:

Normally women wear the toe ring in the second toe. A nerve is there which connects the toe with uterus and then passes to the heart. Science says that wearing the ring regulates the blood flow keeping the menstrual cycle regularized. Wearing a silver toe ring is even better since it is a polarizer and hence absorbs polar energies from the earth and passes it to the body.

Ritual:

Women apply Mehendi/Henna in the hand and feet during any auspicious occasion.

Science behind:

Henna is considered to be a medicinal herb and it keeps the hands and legs cool. Since marriages and occasions are considered to be stressful, putting Mehendi will keep the nerves cool and hence will prevent too much stress.

Ritual:

Hindus pierce ear as a tradition or a sign of their culture.

Science behind:

Science says that our body has many acupressure points. Piercing the ear stimulates a major point by boosting the intellect and increasing the power of thinking.

Ritual:

Indian Women wear bangles.

Science behind:

Since bangles are worn in the wrist and the major nerves run through the hands, the fiction increases. This fictional increase helps in increasing the blood circulation level.
