Setting up a business is not considered an easy task; for, with any kind of business comes a certain amount of risk. The benefits of this initiative include single window clearance, an 80% deduction in patent registration fee and tax exemption on profits for 3 years. Registration of a new entity can be done online either through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs(MCA) or Registrar of Firms.

While the very process of registering a new company has become easier, with even single-person companies being recognized under the ‘Start-up India’ initiative, the biggest problem facing most entrepreneurs is setting up infrastructure for the new business. Based on the location of the industry, the entrepreneur must consider purchasing land to set up an office, or rent commercial space, which must fit the budget and also be easily accessible to different modes of transport, and must be located at a commercial centre.
