Nothing pleases our eyes more than bright, colorful, aromatic and refreshing flowers. If you frequently receive them from your loved ones, then below tips can help you to keep the memories and freshness preserved for a longer time:

  • Keep your flowers away from direct exposure to sun, extreme temperature and drafts. Direct exposure to natural environment enhances the transpiration rate that results in dried and wilted petals.

  • If you have received flowers in plastic wrapping paper, remove it as early as possible.

  • Do not place the embellished bouquet where cigarette smoke travels or near fruits. Ethylene gas released by fruits leads to death of flowers.

  • Do not place floral species setup in windowsills or where the sun rays directly reach to them as harmful radiations will fade them away due to overheating.

  • Majority of floral species last longer in cold water while others remain fresh in lukewarm water.
